Tufting Starter Kit (Frame, Tufting Machine, and Cloth)

Please note: We are currently taking July pre-orders for kits with cut-pile machines, and for kits with loop-pile machines. This means if you place an order today for any kit it will ship by the end of July. 

The perfect set-up if you've never tufted before, our tufting kits include the three components you’ll need to get started. Choose between our standard cut or loop tufting machines (AK I or AK II) in the drop-down menu. 

Kit includes: 

• 1 wooden tufting frame, which clamps to any standard table. Yarn feeder and screws included. Ships flat but easy to assemble. 
• 1 tufting machine: Either a cut pile (AK-I) OR loop pile (AK-II) 
• 1 yard of primary tufting cloth (enough to make four 28” x 28” projects) 

Kit does NOT include: 

• Yarn 
• Clamps* (to attach frame to table)
• Phillips head screwdriver to assemble frame

*We recommend C-clamps or bar clamps, available at any hardware store

For customers outside of the U.S., please note that both tufting machines use an  

A/B plug, and might require an adapter to work elsewhere. If you’re unsure which plug is used in your country, check out this list. Adapters are easily purchasable online.
